I wore this comfy casual outfit a few weekends ago for a movie date with George to go see Mockingjay. It was rainy and colder than we expected, which was perfect weather for going to see a movie. We decided to splurge a little and try out the new iPic Theater in River Oaks, and it was an awesome experience! The seats are in little two-seat pods so you get to be close with your movie partner without anyone else right next to you. The seats fully recline and they provide pillows and blankets, so you never have to worry about bringing a jacket (seriously, why are movie theaters always so cold?). They also serve food and beverages at your seats, but there is a full bar and restaurant in the theater if you want to hang out before or after your movie. Overall, I would definitely recommend seeing a movie at iPic, but since it is more expensive than a regular theater I think it’s better to save your visit for a special date, birthday, or any other special occasion.
This comfortable and laid back outfit was the perfect choice for snuggling up at the movies. I have been wearing my navy booties constantly this fall because they just seem to go with everything! I am also loving my gray jeans because it’s nice to reach for something a little different from my regular denim. I also appreciate the vanity sizing for these because I got to buy a size smaller than what I normally wear. If you look into buying these jeans online, be sure to size down!
